ALERT: Jewelry store owner hears a truck smash through the front of his store and opens fire, sending the would-be thieves running. The attempted robbers drove a Toyota Tacoma through the glass window at Medina Jewelers in Lynnwood, Washington. Once the truck smashed the glass, several masked men ran into the store to steal jewelry from the display cases. When the store owner heard the attempted burglary, he grabbed a gun and fired, sending the thieves running. He then came out of the office area and allegedly opened fire on the suspects who had yet to run away from the store, sending them fleeing into a car waiting out front. Though no injuries were reported, police are unsure if any of the suspects who escaped in a BMW SUV and a silver Toyota or Infiniti sedan were struck by the gunfire.
